Philadelphia art show report
My dear friends!
I am very tired, very excited, and very happy and have many-many new ideas after last show.
Lesson#1 form last weekend: I’ve learned that I am not very good salesman (DAAH!). I started my journey with jewelry and gemstones not thinking about making money. I started this of love and passion for beautiful gems and how they can enhance beauty of people. So, I am getting carried away chatting with my clients, getting so friendly with them that it’s becoming difficult to charge them for my creation! Isn’t that ironic?! I am soo thrilled to see happy smile on somebody’s face. That’s fine, but I cannot do this all the time, I have to learn to be more business-like, perhaps? O well, at least, I can try, right?
Lesson #2: My new expensive iron shelf is not all that useful – or, may be, I did not learn how to utilize it better yet! Very possible, indeed…
Lesson #3: I have to improve my merchandise grouping and display setting skills.
I need one more earring stand – the large one, preferably…So many earrings in different styles I have -I even did not have time to take pictures and upload all of them to the web!
And one more very important thing I want to do: to change completely my labeling and packaging. My necklaces and earrings are unique and creative right? So, I want to make my packaging unique, creative, fun and cool looking as well!
So, as you see – I have lot’s of thinking to do!
